Plot
Antonio, the director of an important newspaper, must choose his successor: Maca, a woman who believes in cooperation among the members of the company and not in verticality at work, will compete against the other deputy director, Vargas, a manipulative journalist who knows it all. The night in which Antonio tells Maca about the selection process, both are locked in the newspaper because of a strong storm and, in the course of that night, they will talk in depth, discuss and reveal transcendental questions about life, journalism, love, sex and death.

Mariana Barassi
Mariana Barassi (Buenos Aires, Argentina, 1977) is an Argentine screenwriter and film director based in Spain.
Her first work as a director is 'Bacanal', a feature film shot in digital video and composed of several short episodes, each of them scripted and directed by different directors, which was released in Argentina in 1999.
In 2012 he directed the short film Pacto de hermanas, starring Terele Pávez, which was presented at the Ibero-American Short Film Competition at the Huesca International Film Festival.
In 2020 he directed his first feature film Crónica de una tormenta, starring Clara Lago and Ernesto Alterio. The film's screenplay, written by Barassi, is based on the play Testosterona, by Mexican writer Sabina Berman.
The film premiered at the Malaga Film Festival and in 2021 received the Melitón Red Iberofest award for Best Ibero-American Film and the CIMA award, given by the Association of Women Filmmakers and Audiovisual Media, at the Navarra International Film Festival.
